It's Alive!: GPS, viewfinder and accessories

The product works as it should. I am using it with a Raspberry Pi 3B+ ham radio project. However, I have serious concerns about the quality of the coax cable and SMA connector. They are a cheap stamped crimp design and the crimp appears to be loose as I can already see the cable electrically loosening in use. I had to secure the cable to keep it from moving and being pulled out all the way. In my opinion, this is due to the low weight of the coaxial cable for the device and at least an insufficient plug connection / termination. I had concerns that the device would even work or be solid if the product arrived before the scheduled date. The package was badly dented and crushed which caused concern. Having used this gps puck for several months I will upvote the previous comments. I have two of these now. One for the house and one for the truck. Living in the desert gave me the opportunity to test this in different conditions. He went through icing, snow, rain, hail and intense heat. It still works. The magnet still holds. I can see about 14-17 out of 24 satellites at any given time. It connects to the DRAWS hat to work with the radio. 73, from KF6NFW
