This is my third SpinScrub. The first one that came with the vacuum, I dropped it on the concrete floor and broke the plastic so it caught the fabric. The original had several smaller washers. I think this one works better. The second fell apart when the plastic around the screws broke. Hope this one lasts longer. It's worth noting that when I first tried it, it was a bit noisy and spinning slowly. I disassembled it and everything looked fine so I put it back together and now it works perfectly. I don't know why, but maybe something was misaligned. I also find that the carpet cleans better when I manually move the tool in small circles. A kind of double rotation effect.
