Review on HUBSAN H501SS Transmitter Brushless Quadcopter by Renee Walters

I have a few drones and for the price I think it's a decent drone. Here are a couple of things i liked: - you can find youtube videos on how to use this particular model which gives you hints how to use the switches on the controller and access the menu options - gps hold seems to work fine. when you let go of the sticks. it freezes in one place - if you wait for the GPS to find 6 or more satellites, you can activate the drone. You can change this so he doesn't have to wait for satellites. You have to press the right stick to go to the menu on the controller. What I didn't like: - The video often flickers when the drone is close to the controller. The image quality is good, but the distance to the controller is much shorter compared to using Fat Shark goggles. I had to watch a video on You Tube to understand that you have to wait for 6 satellites before you can arm the drone. Overall I like this drone and would recommend it to anyone who can fly and possibly those learning to fly under the supervision of an experienced pilot. It's not as fast as a racing drone, but it's still fun to play with.
