Review on 🐱 Enhanced Comfort and Safety: RC Pet Products 1/2" Kitty Cat Harness by Bernadette Pacheco

Good, durable, attractive harness, some points to consider

This is a nice, attractive harness for cats, but there are a few points to consider. The harness fits my solid 10 lb cat very well and is able to stretch as she gains weight. A decorative pattern of a tropical fish is sewn on. If your cat doesn't like the harness, you may soon find out that it's scratched or chewed off and you have a plain black harness. My cat doesn't struggle with the dishes and I expect the fish to stay with her for some time. Unlike some less expensive harnesses, critical stress points are sewn on for added strength, rather than simply glued or welded on. The D-ring that the leash attaches to is not steel but black nylon, similar to snaps. Every harness or collar I've bought in the past has had a steel D-ring, which would certainly be more durable. I don't see this as a problem for my cat, who rarely walks off the leash, but it would be wise to keep an eye on the D-ring for wear or damage. This issue is the main reason I'm rating this 4 stars and not 5. The collar and chest strap adjustment hardware is shown as steel in the photo, but what I received had black nylon hardware. This change likely saved pennies in the cost of manufacturing the suspension. I don't think this change is as significant as a nylon D-ring. These fittings appear to hold their position well, but can be easily adjusted if needed. At the same time that I bought this harness I bought a cheaper one for another cat and the cheaper one has a collar and chest fit that slips and needs to be adjusted every day. I find this crockery superior to the cheaper crockery in every respect. The price of this harness is a bit steep, but the overall build quality and attractive tropical fish design justify it. I would buy this belt again and recommend it.
