I'm old. I was there - LONG. As? Well, I was old talking to an engineer at Hewlett-Packard about how inkjet printers are designed. I remember when the first black and white office laser printers came out - $10,000 each, and a color laser could be bought for $25,000. So here I am using my own HOME black and white laser printer to print a 400 page manuscript (repeats) and I need replacement cartridges to last. I found $100 for a decent cartridge. I saw them and thought "No way" but they had good reviews, they were good value (but were they CHEAP?) and I took a chance. BINGO! Just in and out - worked the first time. Great print and they say it will last 7500 (?) pages? Just take a look. I use it for everything - book designs, marketing designs - and I kill trees left and right. The toner is BLACK and there is no problem with this cartridge AND you get two of them. My ONLY complaint is that I wish they had some kind of consideration. I'm not sure if my recycling company will accept empty plastic laser toner cartridges. In my opinion the best option for your money.
