LOVE this charger! Fast charging and a long cable make it easy to place the tablet on a table or on your lap without worrying about unplugging the tablet or the wall. I ordered several of these to replace regular phone and tablet chargers. They work MUCH better than standard chargers and MUCH better because of the extra cord length. I don't know what tablet manufacturers are thinking when they give you a 2ft cable with your tablet - I think they think you're sitting on the floor next to an outlet! The blue indicator on the fork lets me know it's doing its job. I don't find it very bright as some others have said, it gives off a nice glow at night but certainly not bright enough to be of concern. If you are sensitive to light, a piece of black tape over the lantern will solve the problem and it will be quite easy. This is a great charger at a reasonable price!
