My Prime streaming app recently broke my speakers when I flipped a video and the audio was automatically boosted to maximum volume. Luckily, only my old wired front speakers blew out. I took it apart and replaced the bad speakers with these Boss speakers. They didn't fit exactly, so I had to get a little creative (and lucky) with inserting the screws that hold the speakers in place. But the sound is excellent, and given that the power of these new Boss speakers is much higher, this should avoid the problem of the speakers potentially exploding when the volume is turned up if I rewind while using the Prime app. As for the app volume increasing issue, I have no idea why it started or how to resolve it, but I will investigate further and provide an update when resolved.
