Wrecked my car and almost started a fire!

After 3 minutes of using our machine after installing one of these belts it started smelling burnt…. A lot of smoke follows! I unplugged it quickly, but as the smoke continued to build I took the unit out of the house…. very scary and dangerous! It was 27 degrees outside and we had our doors open to help with the smoke... it was that bad! generic version with the same part number. Buyers beware, this belt wrecked my car and could have started a serious house fire!

Pros

Simple replacement: Loosen 6 belt protection screws with a Phillips screwdriver, remove rollers and old belt, put on new belt, insert rollers into the device and push in. After installing the belt, be sure to rotate the rollers by hand to ensure the belt does not become twisted or pinched.
