They just don't work
I like these lamps for their looks and they are easy to put together but they just don't work. At first I could turn them on with a touch, but then I found I couldn't turn them off. Other times I can turn them off and never turn them on again. After a few hours I can touch them and they can turn on. I believe they have some sort of protection diode designed to protect them from spikes that acts as a momentary switch. Unfortunately, it seems too sensitive and doesn't reset quickly. This renders the light useless. The return date has passed and I am not getting my money back. In the trash.
