Holds my phone in place and doesn't buzz when it's set up properly. Some perseverance. Not sure what the little red button is for. The rotating outer shell vibrates like crazy as you drive and hums louder than you'd believe a tiny piece of plastic can handle. It also requires the included tightening adjustment tool, which is more inconvenient than I initially thought, just use the other thumbscrew that comes pre-installed, it's easy to adjust and won't bother you, that's ok, it's just a little more work, all to secure in a limited space If you are riding a cruiser or something with a lot of free handlebar space then this is not a problem.
