From the description and general opinion it seems to be a regular size so according to the chart it would be large for me. Although they fit, I find them tighter than I would like and a bit shorter than I would like. They're just above my ankles. Although I'm not happy with the size, I have to admit that they are very comfortable, although they are narrower than I would like. Fleece lining is very warm. For many, this can set them up for the winter or late fall, especially if jogging/exercising is the goal for many. They are also very thick and warm for everyday use. I really wish I could just go with my gut and order a size up and choose XL.
