Excellent phone holder

Excellent solution. I gave five stars because the device works very well. It fits very snugly (tight enough for travel) in the cup holder. Although additional padding was provided for the wide cup holders, it was not required. The small portion of the cup holder at the bottom is 3 1/4 inches in diameter. The wider part at the top is 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The holder fits perfectly in the smaller bottom of my cup holder. It's in my 2004 Lincoln Navigator. You can see the small and wide parts in the attached photos. It was VERY easy to snap the phone holder onto the gooseneck cup holder. And it was very easy to insert the cup holder and tighten securely. It holds my iPhone 11 well and firmly with a small case. The mount FITS my phone with an Otterbox case or a similar *size*. It does not come out under normal driving conditions. To deploy your phone, simply place it on the cradle and squeeze the side cradle until they hold the phone. Sharing is just as easy. Press the release button on the back and the side holders relax. I was able to easily bend the gooseneck into a position that provides an excellent view of the phone while driving. It sits well away from the shifter while still providing easy access to the dash switches. The neck didn't move at all during the ride on the first day. Today I tried to answer some emails with my phone in the holder. It moves a bit, but not enough to make using the phone/keyboard for email awkward enough to pick up the phone. I hate that he removes the coaster. But it's easy to remove if it ever becomes important. It's not Bestrix's fault I lost my cup holder. That is to the credit of Lincoln. I tried putting the phone on the dash above the radio but it got so hot it turned off. I will not "glue" anything on the torpedo. I will not use flimsy vent mounts. I tried the window mount but there wasn't a spot I didn't put it in, didn't feel like it got in the way. Additionally, window mounting means the charging cable is routed through the dash. I tried placing it on a phone pad next to the shifter but it always got in the way. The cup holder is the best solution I've found in my opinion. This will of course vary by vehicle and personal preference. I would buy one again and would recommend this one to everyone - carefully check the planned location beforehand. That's the only thing I haven't done. Luckily this holder worked well. I think I would send back one with a longer neck. I would also be concerned that a holder with a longer "neck" would move too much for me.
