First, the net I received was the blue version of the Cryptek, not the standard red/black version I was expecting. It's not really a problem, but the description just doesn't match reality. I bought this net to replace the one I stole from my truck. I've been using the old network for a few months now and really liked it; He easily caught speckled trout, flounder and sea bass. However, my old mesh was PVC coated mesh and this is rubber coated nylon. Don't waste your time buying this model; The net is just as fish-friendly and less prone to tangling than traditional nylon nets. As soon as it arrived and I saw it I ordered a replacement PVC mesh for it.
