I bought this jacket before our last hike this weekend. It was very hot here in Illinois and our campground was remote, surrounded by trees, so there was intermittent wind. The other guys were miserable during the day/evening, I was wearing a jacket and it was like I was in the wind all the time! The mere fact of air moving across your torso is enough to keep you cool! I never thought it would work so well, but it worked! I let two of my smaller friends try it on and they both loved it. A friend of mine ordered one when we were back in cell phone range. I can only recommend this jacket, it does what it is supposed to do and is worth the money!
