Review on 📷 Wosports G100 Mini 16MP 1080P HD Trail Camera for Wildlife Scouting and Hunting, Waterproof, with IR Night Vision Video Cam by Michael Wehrman

When you buy the cheapest product in its class you can't expect much and this product lived up to my humble expectations. This is quite sufficient for random creature acquisition. I wouldn't trust this to be reliable for extended use, it's cheaply made. My use was purely to track why some mousetraps work and others don't. It worked in that capacity, but don't expect any frills. This is the minimum viable product. Here are my complaints: 1) See the attached photo. In night mode they place a light overlay with their terrible logo. Okay, I see, promote your shitty company. However, the text is white, so you cannot read the timestamp on infrared images. Stupid, really stupid design on their part. They could have made it any color other than white and you could tell the time the picture was taken. 2) Claim number 2. To save money on the cheapest microprocessor, they store images as uncompressed AVI files. While this isn't in itself a hindrance to the show, it does mean you're using about 28x more storage. That would be fine too, but they only support a 32GB memory card. A 10-second video clip requires 30 MB of storage space. When I converted it on my laptop to the standard MP4 file that all other cameras use, the file size dropped to 1.2MB. So much wasted memory. 3) The product claims to have 24x7 support. That's a lie. Their website doesn't even have an instruction manual to download. Oh yes and if you need phone support they are kind enough to ask you for a review and on their card they will box them up and then give you their direct phone number to their Chinese offices. Good luck with it.
