I was diagnosed with lupus a few years ago. For two years I have had problems with a very sensitive scalp and hair loss. Wigs are not particularly comfortable to wear, especially if your scalp is sensitive or you have inflammation issues. I ordered this turban last week when I was having one of those depressing moments. I was very surprised when I received it. The material is described as cotton. However, the appearance is more elegant than polyester type materials. It's very soft and comfortable. (smiling) I've never had a small head. I was concerned if it would fit. It's pretty convenient. Instead of reaching for a wig when I leave the house, for the past few days I've grabbed my turban with roses on my back or side, put on earrings and makeup, and confidently headed out. It's nice to find a company with quality goods at a reasonable price as we require multiple colors. Only criticism is that I would like to see some spring flowers - pink, purple, orange.
