I have been loyal to the Samsung brand for my monitors for 10 years (if not more). I was happy to have bought a 4K monitor that met my expectations. I wouldn't call this monitor cheap at $400, but it's definitely cheaper than the alternatives. Clearly, I got what I paid for. The monitor has a few dead pixels and the power cord connector doesn't hold the power cord well. A light tap on my desk disconnects both the cable that came with it and a replacement cable I tried from another monitor. If you plan on using the included desktop mount, keep in mind that stability is also an issue - I get a lot of movement and jitter on the monitor just from typing and using the mouse. This is causing my monitor mounted webcam to shake and people notice this on Zoom calls. It's clear that these days you have to spend a nice panel from Samsung to get a quality panel, so I'm planning to replace this monitor with another brand that has maintained the quality even with their cheaper monitors.
