I LOVE this leash. When I first used it, I was a bit concerned because it felt heavy. After a few more walks I fell in love with her. I think my other lead was so cheaply made (and falling apart) that I wasn't used to the weight of a well-made, durable lead. I sincerely think Scout (the best dog in the world) likes it too. He dances proudly. However, the Scout is an XL-sized dog. An Australian Cattle and Shepherd mix weighing over 90 pounds. It can bear the weight of this leash. I love the triangular soft grip, it's much better for my arthritic hands. I love the second pen. The Scout is a friendly dog who thinks the whole world loves him, which is why he tends to stop and talk to every person we meet on a walk, especially if we're walking around town. I used to have to wrap an old leash around my arm to keep it centered next to me. Now I just take the second pen. So much easier! I also think Scout is doing better. When I grab the second line he stays close to me and doesn't try to pull me away. Yay! Well made, durable, stylish leash at a super affordable price. Scout approved!
