These are great, durable dog beds, but over the years the manufacturer has gone overboard with polyester padding. If your pup is less than 10 pounds, their weight will barely be enough to compress the filling and the bed will rock as little Fido finds the right spot to settle. Rather than being flanked around it, my dog lay roughly level with the top of the flanks. Not comfortable. What I actually cut out was a 6 inch gap at the bottom and removed about half of the filler so the sides of the pad are now higher than the center of the bed. Seal the gap with a piece of fabric tie and you've got a bagel bed that won't wobble when your pet climbs in, and when they sit down, they'll be tucked under the cushions in their snug nest. Despite this extra work, I still love the Majestic brand and find the materials to be better than most other beds in this price range. It's kind of funny how over the years most manufacturers give you less and less while Majestic gives us more and more.
