Review on 🔌 Metra Axxess AX-CAM6V 12V to 6V Camera Voltage Reducer by Gerardo Cibrian

I needed to replace the factory head unit in my 2016 Subaru Impreza which had a factory backup camera. I read online that the factory camera uses a lower voltage than the main unit I was trying to install. This item is designed to step down the 12V output of the aftermarket head unit to the appropriate voltage so as not to overload or damage the factory camera. This item is also used at some local plumbing shops to achieve the same result. It worked great with my setup and installation was easy as long as you followed the connection instructions correctly.
