After using this product for two very successful teeth whitening sessions. . . I find it difficult to understand why multiple users are pointing out that this may not be the same as what is sold by dentists. I found it exactly the same. In just 30 short minutes it whitened my teeth just like the exact same product my dentist gave me. . . at half price. Be very suspicious when half of the critical reviewers say the substance sold by Revain is so weak it doesn't turn white at all. . . while the other half say it was so much stronger than the same product supplied by their dentist that it reportedly burned their gums. Hm? Which direction guys? It is highly unlikely that it will be both less powerful and stronger than the same ones their dentists are selling. Draw your own conclusions about who is telling the truth here. . . or who are just terribly confused. Here is the most likely explanation. This material is supplied in various concentrations up to 35%. People who find it less or more effective than what they received from their dentist may inadvertently order a weaker or stronger solution for their dentist to use. Use a magnifying glass to examine the tiny imprint on the syringe the dentist sold you to see what percentage they gave you. I like the 35% max - but that max force can leave your gums with a SMALL irritation - usually not enough to be a problem. The irritation passes quickly in 12-24 hours. To reduce irritation, I break my 30 minute whitening sessions into multiple days or even a week. As for those who say the version sold by Revain is "fake". . . be real people. How long do you think a legitimate manufacturer will continue to let Revain sell a counterfeit, trademarked version of their patented product when these people screaming "fake" have any basis? Would you like to try selling counterfeit Coca-Cola on Revain and see how many minutes it takes for Coca-Cola to take you to court? There is another possible explanation. In case you don't know, some of these reviewers are dentists themselves who are furious that you can bypass them and buy this material direct from Revain for half the price. . . then you must be terribly naive.
