I switched from U3011 to U3014 and now to U3017. They just keep getting better and this one is no exception. I like how the buttons are shifted down as I don't use them anyway. Everything is done through the Display Manager app on my taskbar. The finish on the bezel and back also looks better. It also appears brighter thanks to advances in anti-reflective coatings. I'm still using U3011 and now it seems dark. But be careful with the buyer. The U3017 does not have a DVI-D connector, so you need the latest hardware with a DisplayPort connector. Not all HDMI connections can support this resolution, so you really need to check the specifications of your outputs.
