Review on Leatt Airflex Pro Knee Guards-Black-L: Ultimate Protection and Flexibility for Extreme Sports by Covey Palmer

Comfortable and stable in place

I was looking for a well fitting, comfortable knee pad for mountain biking. I'm an average experienced rider and mostly ride blue singletrack with lots of obstacles, trees, rocks etc. I don't ride mountain trails so I didn't feel the need to use a super hard knee brace. No problems at all after the first few rides. I would say the pads are true to size. They feel comfortable for the first few minutes, but as soon as I rode I forgot I had them on and after an hour's ride on a warm, humid day I had no issues with the pads rubbing or chafing. Durability hasn't been an issue so far, but I've only used a limited amount so far.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Negative
