Review on πŸš— Safe Parking Cord: Prime-Line GD 52286 Right Stop Cord – Connects to Garage Door for Windshield Protection by Joe Patterson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You could use a tennis ball, but .

Works as advertised but most applications don't need to worry about connecting to a garage door. Included are small grommets and a rope long enough to tie to the garage door, allowing the ball to be lifted up and out of the way when the door is closed. When the door opens, the ball falls inside. The kit does NOT include eyelet anchors. So if you're installing it to drywall (garage ready) you'll need your own plastic anchors. The ball is soft, so don't worry about scratching the car, and it is easy to tie with a string. Yes, you can use a tennis ball and that would be fine too, but have you ever drilled a hole in a tennis ball and put a small string or cord through it? The fluffy cap wants to wrap itself in the drill and pull the ball out of your hand. You can also use an exacto knife and hope no bloodshed occurs in the process. Bottom line, worth its price, fully functional.

Pros
  • HIGH VISIBILITY - The bright yellow color of the styrofoam ball provides high visibility so it's easy to see even when entering the garage.
Cons
  • Doubtful
