Item came with a small hole in the bottom cap and supposedly waterproof cap. I had to jump through so many hurdles like emailing the company through the Amazon portal and then submitting photos through my actual email address because the system wouldn't let me upload the photos, which took forever before , until I got the change cover I could even use the bed. When the replacement sheets finally arrived I put them on the bed and let my dog use them. I bought this bed for my 13 year old disabled lab child and my shepherd who has incontinence issues. The first two times she had an accident, everything was fine, and I removed the "waterproof" coating and replaced the outer coating. However, the third time she peed on the bed was at night, so it probably took her a little longer to soak. When I went to change the cover it was wetter than usual and I couldn't get the smell out of the waterproof liner just by wiping it, so I took it off to wash it and then noticed that the foam pad was wet with urine. It shouldn't be wet at all. According to the description, the liner was waterproof, but it wasn't. After walking through the liner, I attempted to hand wash the foam insert in the tub. It ripped down the middle after washing because it was glued cheaply (see photo). The foam also started to fall apart, just hand washed. Also, it never dried after washing and wringing. I let it air dry in a well ventilated place for 7 days and the memory foam was still wet! Of course, it doesn't need to be washed at all. This company should really consider changing their customer service procedures because the ridiculous amount of time it took to communicate with "Faye" was so time consuming and frustrating that my time is worth more than the price. this bed. The time and effort it takes to even get a response from them far outweighs any result which has only been a replacement duvet so far, although Faye has informed me in a previous email that they will be sending out a replacement bed immediately . . off as soon as I messaged her again via the Revain message portal. You really should include an old-fashioned phone number so customers can easily reach you. Save time and money by purchasing an Orvis waterproof bed. Here's what I do after that experience.
