Ideal for ski touring and for those living or traveling in colder conditions. It has a soft, flannel-like texture that's easy to clean (just toss with other laundry - no special treatment needed). The material is thin enough to be breathable so it can be used to cover the lower part of the face, but it doesn't quite replace a scarf as it ends at the base of the neck. If you have a coat or jacket with a fairly high zip, this should be enough to keep your neck warm.
