We have an adorable little corgi who sometimes gets overwhelmed by his barking. We only used it a couple of times before the smart little bugger got the barking to match the sound/vibration. Now we literally just have to pull the collar or put it on him without even turning him on and he will realize he is being too much and stop barking. We tested it on ourselves before putting it on just to see how strong the vibration would be. It's definitely noticeable, but not extreme. This probably won't work on a dog used to stronger vibrating or shock collars, FYI. For us it was good. We wanted to find a HUMAN solution that would help our pup understand that excessive barking is unacceptable and this is perfect for that.
