super easy! Best in Window Films

We just installed a new bathroom window. I wasn't willing to pay a crazy price for a tempered glass window. So this was the perfect solution. I've never done anything like this before, but I read all the reviews for tips and tricks. Here's what I learned: cropping. Some people here say you need to trim it a little and cut it after install. Do not do that. I cut it to fit, or so I thought. One side was a bit wider so I had to cut it off after it went up. This film is so thin it ripped the window off even with a new Xacto blade. So yes. Cut to size before assembly. Pour warm water into a spray bottle and add a few drops of dish soap. This will help the film stick. Place a towel on the floor to catch water. Peel off the protective film and wet the back of the film. Wet the window, I mean DOCK it. Position the film and use a squeegee and a thin washcloth to squeeze out the water, starting in the center and working to the edge of the window. If the foil moves a little while doing this, use the palm of your hand on the foil to push it into place. TA Dah!
