When I choose mobo I find the best overclock I can find and the same for CPU is never the best always for the dollar and then I never overclock . I started using Zalman products a long time ago and I love the performance and at the time the fans were top notch and I may not overclock but I use my hardware 24/7. So I'm now opting for newer stock and prefer Noctua if I can afford it, but for now choose your light color with price in mind and some Zalman products are an absolute steal. By the way, this is a replacement for Zalman, which is still running after more than 10 years and I do system design. forever with one goal: to maintain maximum cooling with heatsinks and fans. If you're going for a quieter system that uses air this is a great solution as it won't dust the mobo components but you will need a case that supports the height. So check your specs before making your choice. I have no issues with water cooling, it's just a choice to simplify things for a specific purpose and layout. Once installed the device itself is great, all mounting hardware and *tools* are complete junk.
