Didn't know this could happen…. The light actually burned my turtle... causing the death of the shields and bones. Scar tissue was formed under the vagina to heal. (These are the white parts you can see... the shell has just detached.) Do not use halogen lights on turtles and reptiles. Cost me €300 at the vet!
