Review on 🏍️ Enhance Motorcycle Convenience with RAM Mounts RAM-B-309-6U Double Ball Base for Brake/Clutch Reservoir by Kevin Phillips

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Requires new hardware but will work

I chose these Decided over the handlebar clamp mount because it's more secure and won't ruin the handlebar finish if I take it off to sell the bike.My old plastic clamp mount (pictured) also has moved around a lot for my liking so this would be a nice upgrade and would clear my handlebars a little. As other people have mentioned the black finish is not perfect and not fully painted next to the balls.I skipped the plastic spacers as they don't.The bolts don't match the brake reservoir on my honda shadow, because they're too thick, they're also too long and don't let the clamp clamp tight anyway, ga nz not to mention they are cheap plastic. There is space between this mount and the brake mount now, but I'll live with that. went to the hardware store upon receipt and bought some 35mm socket head screws, $2, as the screws that came with were VERY long. It fits well now and I'm looking forward to getting my arm and phone holder in the mail next week to try it out. I opted for a double ball because the one ball at the top is too high for my taste. I want them to do a center ball as that would clear things up a bit. In the future, the second bullet will be useful for professional use or a GPS navigation system. For now this will do what I want and I can swap out the arm/phone mount with the suction cup mount for the windshield in my truck.

Pros
  • Includes 1" B-size RAM rubber balls to allow connection to any B-size dual-socket RAM arm; Ball-and-socket technology allows for nearly unlimited adjustment
Cons
  • Fits
