This light is VERY bright (good for me). The installation is not difficult because of the wires, but because the wires supplied are very short. I have a flat roof and the fixture is 3 feet from where the light is mounted to the ceiling. Extending the cables was a hassle. Not hard. The sensor is so sensitive that it works when someone is near the door (opposite side of the world). He sees through wooden doors and works well. It is not possible to set the time for the light to turn on (from on to off). But overall this is a really good all-around flashlight for those places you don't go often.
