In the foreword I would like to say that I have only used it on 2 mirrors so far but it seems to work exactly as it should which I cannot say about locknlube. I kind of ended up with the 1st gen version and it's complete garbage. As long as it's attached well enough, lube will spurt out from under the claws. Therefore, there is no doubt about the second generation. I'm sure if I bought the 2nd gen it would work perfectly and I would love it but they won't get $30 from me for the 2nd gen. 1st Gen. I am happy with the purchase and need to update my review as durability is concerned. Currently a satisfied customer.
