This HP Pavilion desktop is a solid but basic PC that won't surprise you with its specs, although it could be viewed as a gaming PC with a discrete Radeon RX 5500 card. What transcends this machine is 4K gaming and VR, but it can run most modern games at 1080p on medium settings. However, this machine is not what I need. As a Plex server, that's good. It is silent and can transcode videos using hardware transcoding. Unfortunately, it only has one slot for an additional hard drive. As a video editing device, it can handle 1080p videos but doesn't work with 4K. As a photo editing device, it can edit almost everything from your devices, but if you work with prints, you are missing this device. For emulation, this machine is quite suitable for all classic systems and even for some of the more modern ones. Of course, for daily web browsing and video watching, this thing is more than enough. Overall, this is a fairly inexpensive machine that stands out from the regular PCs you can find, and the discrete GPU helps this machine last longer than with integrated graphics.
