Deeply mistaken - my new review

Good: Extremely bright with excellent color reproduction The 43-inch is almost "too big" for a desktop, but is incredibly addictive for some games not affected by the issues described below. The Bad: You can tell this was designed to look good on paper but has serious flaws in execution. While this might make a workstation monitor acceptable for development or graphics work, it's terrible as a gaming monitor. I regret the purchase, especially considering the price, and I have won that I will never buy an Acer product again. 144Hz requires connecting a monitor with two cables and I couldn't get it to work reliably with my GeForce 1660Ti. In this mode, HDR and gsync are disabled. in SDR is near perfect, HDR is extremely washed out. HDR is bright, but all colors appear grayer, defeating the whole purpose of HDR. flat screens. Extremely bright games are less noticeable, but any game with high-contrast graphics ends up looking like everything is covered in black. Overdrive can be enabled at 60Hz to make this problem less noticeable, but overdrive is disabled at 120Hz and above. As with HDR, this defeats the very purpose of a high refresh rate.
