The screen is on all the time and as far as I know there is no way to dim the screen to save battery. It is best to install the phone in the Kraken in an air-conditioned room to minimize humidity inside the case during the dive; The instructions also say to put the phone in, deflate and wait a while to make sure the vacuum holds. If you do this, the travel time before entering the water can be long and the phone battery can be very drained or drained. So run some tests with your phone in the comfort of your own home before you take it anywhere. and i need it to work. When I put my phone in the case at sea or on land before diving, I was able to circumvent this problem by placing absorbent paper inside the case before sealing it. There have been several instances where my phone was paired to the case via bluetooth but the buttons on the case were not working. It also happened sometimes when I turned off the screen. I had to turn off the case and sync again; it was a bit annoying but manageable.
