It was good when I got it, great brightness, nice finish, good information panel. Now after very little use I wanted to use it and the battery died and it wouldn't charge. Contacting Moman for a warranty when there is only 8 days left until the 1 year warranty, NOT 2 as stated in the description. The response from Moman and the Videonet seller was great, although it took a few days. They replaced the entire device within 2 weeks without returning the original device. So I took the original unit apart after getting a replacement and it was the battery (2850mAh) that failed and read zero volts (for lithium which is dead, dead, dead and not charging). When I used to do electronics repairs, I remembered having a few cell phone batteries. The one I chose was from a Galaxy S3, it had less amps (1875mAh) and was a bit thicker (have to remove 2 magnets inside the case that make it magnetic) but it worked fine then I had one larger battery (4400 mAh) . ) from the same phone, soldered in parallel, cut a hole for wires in the back panel, glue it to the back panel. Now the bad one runs for about 3 hours, but the display predicts the running time correctly because it was probably programmed for the built-in battery, since there is no "sensible" cable connection for this as with cell phones. Overall very happy with the new and the old with a replacement, much brighter than I remembered. They seem to have a new model that uses twice as many LEDs, with a bigger battery and slightly larger size that can also be used as a USB charger, ingenious and remarkable.
