Although this phone is a good choice for smartphone beginners, it also has its disadvantages. I recommend that you only use this phone directly with T-Mobile, Verizon, or AT&T. It is not compatible with Hello Mobile or some other low-cost providers. The highest data rate I could get with Hello Mobile is 1Mbps, but it worked with a SIM card and T-Mobile service. This tells me that Hello Mobile uses frequencies or bands that aren't widely used by T-Mobile, so they buy them cheap. Another downside is that the fastest WiFi I've been able to get with this phone is only 40Mbps, even though I have an 800Mbps internet connection. The 802.11ac standard required for faster WiFi speeds is not supported. Moving data from another smartphone is very slow with this Wi-Fi speed. For more experienced smartphone users, I would recommend the Oneplus N10, which retails for $300 and works with 5G.
