I know that I am a small woman. I don't say "small" because for designers, "small" means slim. There are many little women. The amazing fact is that I can never find anything that matches the length of the arm. I'm 5ft 1in, 140lbs, 36D, I ordered a large. This jacket was large all over, but when I ordered a medium size it would not button up. The sleeves were 4-5 inches longer starting at the shoulder. Seam meaning the elbow pad rested on my forearm and the sleeves came down to my fingertips. The shoulders were huge and I looked like a peanut head because the collar was so big. Sigh. I hate ordering online but it's SO hard to find women's clothing in person. The quality of the jacket was excellent but there has to be a better way to accentuate female proportions than just redesigning a men's jacket as it looks.
