I bought this to use with our version of the Hoover Wind Tunnel Rewind Pet. The tools and accessories that came with the vacuum were lacking, to say the least, and while the hose could be detached, there was very little access to it. With this set I can now reach all corners and edges that I could not reach before. On first use I had a moment where I didn't think it would work - the attachment hose was too big to fit the vacuum hose. Fortunately, the nozzle is made of a slightly flexible material. The plastic/rubber is thick and doesn't feel pliable at first. But with some compression I was able to slip it into the built in vacuum hose and it fits snugly. The length and included sticks allowed me to easily clean air conditioner vents, ceiling fans, light fixtures, etc. without overstretching. .A note on horsehair brushes. I've read comments about the bristles retracting inward during use and they do. However, in my experience, this has happened after cleaning areas with a lot of dust/pet hair etc. When dust and hair get tangled in the brush, they are sucked in by the suction force of the vacuum cleaner. Just remove the nozzle and hose down the brush for 10 seconds and I was back to brushing. Don't let such a small problem stop you from buying such a great tool.
