I thought this laptop would be perfect for me as I work from home and like to do it from my bed or sofa. It has a modern look and I was particularly pleased that it has both a mouse pad and wrist pad. I could do without slots for a tablet or phone, but I'm not embarrassed that they are. That being said, the wrist pad is unfortunately incredibly fast (on the first day of use for me, that was around four hours of continuous use) when resting your wrist while using the mouse. I've included pictures of what I'm talking about so you can better understand what I mean. It sucks because now when I use a mouse my wrist hurts after a few minutes because it's mostly on a hard surface. The pad is made of cheap foam that does not recover after damage. In my opinion it would be much better if it was a gel or even a bean bag fill. I don't know what to do, I don't know if I should return it or not because I like the floor. Pillows to rest on your lap/bed/sofa, they are comfortable and match my laptop well (it's a 14 inch ASUS ROG) but at the same time. It hurts to use a regular mouse, so I use it 90% of the time at work.
