Review on Hot Leathers Classic Motorcycle 38 by Todd Foster

I bought this jacket last week and only received it last Sunday. The shipping was fast and that without Prime. I was a bit apprehensive when I first got it because it was really square and the sleeves looked too thick. I thought about redoing it but figured my first try at getting it to work for me would be tossing it in the washing machine to get it wet. I didn't use fabric softener or detergent. I just wanted to see if the skin would soften and take shape better. Then I threw it in the dryer. The instructions on the jacket say to tumble dry on a low setting, but I was hoping for some shrinkage so I threw the jacket on a medium setting. Regularly checking the drying process, trying on and all that and I had some shrinkage. Just wanted to shrink the sleeves a bit and so far so good. I tugged at the bottom of the jacket to make sure it was the same length. After a few runs in the dryer I tried it on and the leather was very supple and the fit was perfect (for me). The angularity has gone and now I feel a little lived in, which is what I was aiming for. For example, when sizing, I went with my standard size, I took my measurements and chose my size based on the size chart provided. TLDR: I was skeptical at first because of the squareness of the jacket, but after washing and drying I love it!
