The device was easy to install, but as soon as I installed and tried it, the mechanism broke immediately (see photo). It has a cheap vinyl gear on top that meshes with a metal gear on the motor. So any compression or feedback and the vinyl equipment won't carry the load. Another picture shows the original starter (metal gear). If you are looking for a starter for your lawn mower, look carefully at the pictures. MAKE SURE IT HAS A METAL GEAR! Most I've seen only cost a few dollars more than this one. Spend the extra money trust me.
