UPDATE: I approve of this band because I think the issues I had were more user error than an issue with the band . I redid it to have less overlap between the bands and it took a full 3 days before it needed replacing. I still think the quality is a bit lower than the famous brand, but it works just as well. I use this tape to wrap an ankle for PTTD and the other calf for calf splints. I applied the tape last night and it stayed on my skin with no problem, but it's peeling off where it's applied to another tape. It definitely works, but I don't think it will last as long as a branded band. In addition, the edges are somewhat frayed. In general, I would say that functionally they are not inferior to CT tapes, but the quality is slightly inferior. Although for the money it's worth it. I think even if I have to replace it more often it will still be cheaper since it's half the price.
