If you are looking for watercolor brushes, especially for beginners, this is a great place to start. They hold water very well. The only thing that surprised me was the length of the brushes. At first I thought it might bother me that I'm so tall, but once I started drawing it didn't matter! I love painting with all types of mediums which are usually longer brushes like this one. My kids also love to paint with me and they love these brushes.
