DOA. It arrived without anti-static packaging and with an exposed SATA cable, so it was clearly used by someone and returned. The protective plastic element on the socket came loose during shipping and came into contact with open contacts, causing 4 of them to bend. Attached is a photo of the damage. I tried to smooth them out as best I could and it worked for a while, but after a few hours they were completely dead. I tested it with two power supplies and neither could get the system to show any sign of life . 1 star until I return successfully. Edit: Got a free replacement for a day! It arrived brand new and worked great. 3 stars.
