I spent all morning taking her to work. They do a reasonably good job of cutting along the edge if you go through the grain (as any carpenter should). End breaks are a problem. They gnaw wood terribly. The parts look like they went through a wood chipper. I've used different types of hardwood, all with the same result. I even tried making a series of small cuts. Nothing seemed to work. I'm sure I wasted my money on these beats.
