I have had the Pur Water Filtration System for many years. The battery in the block died and we replaced it. That's when the problems started. The device is leaking from the faucet or where the device is screwed to install the filter. We started looking for alternative ways to filter water in the kitchen sink. We are a family of 8 and use a lot of water for cooking and drinking. Finally, after weeks of searching, we came across this filter that connects directly to the plumbing under the sink. At first I was skeptical, did a little research, dared and bought it. I've had the device for a few weeks now and I have to say it works as advertised. It was very easy to install and after almost 5 minutes of flushing the unit we were up and running. The woman didn't even complain, she was used to well water, she hated the city water that was fed to the house. In summary, I would definitely say that this is a good buy. I will update the review if there are any issues in the coming months. I hope this review was helpful. To update. About 2 months after installation, the water pressure started to drop. I emailed the company and let them know what issue I was having and how long the filter had been there. They sent me a new filter. As of today, when this update is made, the filter is still in effect.
