In Florida, the tropical sun eats them out of the blue. The expensive ones don't seem to last as long as these. I'm not sure why, but I've found that since I change them so often, I'm wasting my money by spending twice as much. When it arrived it looked lighter than the product photo. Since it's winter in Florida right now, I expect this coverage will continue at least through late spring and early summer. This is a new outdoor location and I have found it to be better protected from the weather, especially the sun. It is therefore possible that this special coating will last longer than 6 months. The time will show. This product has a strap that snaps in the middle of my bike. There are holes intended to pass the locking mechanism through the front, which I don't use as I prefer to tie the chain through the back. It will roll up and fit in the "trunk" of my Dao Dao. For this price it seems well made. The bottom line for me is that it fits my scooter and protects it from the elements without breaking the bank.
