Received the table today and found the top was broken. The back panel, which was pinned to the posts, ripped right through the brackets. The panel was thin, had cracks in the wood where the staples went through and is in pretty bad shape and unrepairable (many small pieces are missing and chipped). Above. Also, they appear to be using power tools and re-inserting the screws into the wood, plunging them deeper than necessary, damaging the wood under the screw head to the point where the wood cracks. Even after replacing the screw on the detached socket (the screw was also bent. Yes, bent!) the bars could not be aligned to match the socket. With the stand screwed on, the drawer didn't even move along the drawer slide. So many things are wrong with how poorly constructed this upper is. Is the manufacturer proud of their product or how it works? .I live in Hawaii and it's just not worth reconfiguring an item. God knows what condition the replacement will be in when it gets to me. Please note that the box the table came in was in perfect condition. No damage so I can't imagine when the damage happened. Manufacturer notice. Use glue on top to keep things from falling apart. Cheap is good, but it's ridiculous! I can only give this table 2 stars although the floor is absolutely fine and as expected. Luckily I'll be able to fix the top myself to make it work. But not satisfied with this purchase!
